Bransey Jewelry is a one-person shop in Lawrence, Kansas, that sells costume, vintage, and antique jewelry and estate finds. This policy explains what information this website (branseyjewelry.com) collects, what happens to it, and how you can ask me to change or delete it. It is short because this site collects very little.
What this website collects
No cookies, no accounts, no cart. This site does not set cookies. There is no account to create, no cart, and no newsletter to sign up for. It does not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or session recording. It does not build a profile of you, and it does not follow you to other sites.
Page-performance measurement. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures how quickly pages load. It does not use cookies, local storage, or any other client-side state. It does not fingerprint you from your IP address or your browser, and Cloudflare strips IP addresses at its edge before the data is processed. What I see is aggregate — how many views a page received and how fast it loaded. I cannot look up an individual visitor. If your browser or an extension blocks the measurement script, the site works normally.
What you choose to send me. If you email me, or use the contact form, I receive whatever you put in that message: typically your name, your email address, and whatever you tell me about the piece you are asking about. If you include a phone number or a mailing address in your message, I receive that too. I use it only to answer you and to handle the sale if one follows. The form carries your four fields and nothing else; it does not attach an IP log to the message and it does not set a cookie. The message is relayed to my inbox by Cloudflare, which runs this site and the code behind that form. There is no third-party form service involved.
What the server sees. Like every website, the server that delivers these pages receives technical information — your IP address, the page you requested, and your browser’s user-agent string. This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes that information to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse. I do not use it to identify individual visitors and I do not combine it with anything else.
What I do with it
I read your message and I write back. If you buy something, I use your name and address to send it and to keep the records a business has to keep. That is the whole list.
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. I do not send marketing email. There is no mailing list.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare delivers this website, protects it from abuse, and measures page performance as described above.
- eBay hosts the listings where pieces are sold. When you click a “Buy on eBay” button, you leave this site and eBay’s own privacy policy governs everything that happens there.
I do not control what those companies do with information you give them directly. Read their policies before you buy.
No other party collects information about your activity across other websites while you are on this site. There is no third-party tracking here to collect it.
Your choices
To see what I have. Email contact@branseyjewelry.com and ask. I will tell you what I hold about you.
To correct it. Email contact@branseyjewelry.com and tell me what is wrong. I will fix it.
To have it deleted. Email contact@branseyjewelry.com and ask me to delete it. I will delete everything except what I am required to keep for tax and sales records, and I will tell you what I kept and why.
To stop hearing from me. I do not send marketing email, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. If you have an open question with me and want me to stop replying, say so and I will stop.
Do Not Track
This site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because it does not track you across sites in the first place. There is no advertising network and no cross-site tracking here for a signal to switch off. The page-performance measurement described above is not tied to an individual and is not used to follow you anywhere else.
Children
This site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent me information, email contact@branseyjewelry.com and I will delete it.
If this policy changes
If I change how this site handles information, I will post the new policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. If the change is significant — for example, if I ever add a mailing list — I will say so in a short note at the top of this page for at least 30 days, so anyone who comes back can see what changed.
